Summer camp is BIG business in Bozeman. So big that at Montana Parent we adjusted our publication schedule to include a Summer Camp Sneak Peek issue in February and began launching our Camp & Activity Finder during that month as well.
Still, I hear parents lamenting that some camps already have waitlists by the time our March issue comes out. It would be fantastic if I was able to provide some magical advice or inside scoop here…but the truth is, if you are planning to enroll your children in summer programming in the Gallatin Valley you need to do it TODAY.
Our little mountain town has ballooned in population over the past three years and business owners, restaurants, school districts, camp directors and, really…everyone, is still struggling to catch up to the demand.
So, the good news? The good news is that by picking this issue up or reading it online you can find more than 50 different organizations’ camp programming. Camps run the full gamut, from sports, to arts and crafts, to horseback riding, to music, cooking, acting…even circus. With half-day, full day and overnight camps, there is truly something for everyone.
Let the summer camp Tetris planning begin!
