Yellowstone Day Trip | July 2011

All of us Montana folks are pretty lucky to live so close to Yellowstone National Park. We can make a quick day trip with the kids to see the natural wonders that so many people travel from around the world to see. Load up some snacks, some car activities for the kids, sunscreen, bear spray and bug repellent and enjoy! Be sure to ask for the animal check list from the ranger as you enter the park. One year our kids got to check off every single animal on that sheet, including the Yellow-Bellied Marmot!

Also, before you leave town don't forget to pick up one of our FREE Wild West Activity Books with puzzles, games, coloring pages, fun facts and craft ideas. You can find them all over town at Montana Ale Works, Tarantino's Pizza, Nova Cafe, Sola Cafe  and other locations. Or go to our website http://www.mtparent.com/index.php/kids-activity/wild-west-activity-fun and you can download the entire booklet or select pages.
