The 4th of July is upon us! Here is a list of several fireworks displays throughout the region. Where do you watch fireworks with your family?
Note: The city names are linked to various websites with more details.
Marianne Baumberger, Fire information and Education Tech reminds us:
"As you make plans for the Fourth of July keep in mind that NO FIREWORKS are allowed on Forest Service lands! Smokey Bear is preparing to be in the Fourth of July Parade in West Yellowstone and he hope you will enjoy fireworks at one of the great shows around Gallatin County…this includes the fireworks shows that are planned in West Yellowstone, Bozeman, and Big Sky. You will notice that his sign around the forest will be showing our fire danger at MODERATE. Temperatures are expected to be warm and sunny so the chance for wildfires to ignite will be easier. This means to be careful and don’t let the first wildfire of the season be YOUR fault. Have a safe and enjoyable Fourth of July!"
Festival of the Fourth will be held at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds. Presented by the Gallatin Empire Lions. Food, beer and soda will be available for sale
Live music 8:30-10:30
Spectacular fireworks show at 10:30

Livingston rodeo performances are July 2nd, 3rd and 4th – nightly at 8pm.
The big guns, fireworks that is, come out each night after every Livingston Rodeo performance. The local Rotary Club sponsors the big-time 4th of july fireworks displays.
4th of July - Come see for yourself how impressive fireworks can be under the Big Sky! Community events, food, drinks and live music will make this holiday one you won't soon forget. Big Sky Freedom Festival & Fireworks Show will be held at Big Sky Meadow Village Pavilion. From Highway 191, turn west onto Highway 64. Travel approximately 2 1/2 miles. Turn right onto Little Coyote Road and proceed 1/2 mile. Big Sky Meadow Pavilion and Community Park is on the right.
Our Fourth of July celebration this year includes some "down home" fun - outdoor barbeque benefit for the fire department, parade, music and fireworks (conditions permitting). Parade lines up at 5:00 pm and parade starts at 6:00 pm. Fireworks start at 10:00 pm.
