That right there is a wall of pictures. Pictures of the bountiful produce from Gallatin Valley Botanical . It's getting warmer and warmer outside and the folks at the farm are already busy at prepping and planting and growing. It takes a lot to produce the amazing boxes of veggies that they weekly provide. The 2013 season pickup starts on June 10th and runs 18 weeks through the week of October 7th.
Last year I wrote about what a CSA is in this post. In short, CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. To join one, you simply buy a share, which is quite literally seed money and then you pick up your box of awesome every Friday.
Throughout the summer, I'll post step by step recipes and pictures of what I've made. GVB includes a newsletter with ideas and I'll be digging into the treasure trove that I get from Grandma Shirley's Bridge Club.
A couple of changes to note from last year:
They're not doing the "working member option" but they are offering half-shares.
