I just had to include two images this week to celebrate the gorgeous 80 degree weather that we are having! A good friend gave me these beautiful lilacs to dress up my table, and they smell so good! Now if only the deer would stop eating my lilac bush so it would flower some day...

Despite our short growing season here in Montana, what are some of your favorite things you share with your friends and family that come straight from your yard? We make lots of rhubarb crisps and apple pies, but we are curious what are some other good ideas that we can all share from goodies grown around our valley?
