Beautiful Disaster

By

Jamie McGuire

Here is the description that is on the back of the book…..

The new Abby Abernathy is a good girl. She doesn’t drink or swear, and she has the appropriate number of cardigans in her wardrobe. Abby believes she has enough distance from the darkness of her past, but when she arrives at college with her best friend, her path to a new beginning is quickly challenged by Eastern University's Walking One-Night Stand.

Travis Maddox, lean, cut, and covered in tattoos, is exactly what Abby needs—and wants—to avoid. He spends his nights winning money in a floating fight ring, and his days as the ultimate college campus charmer. Intrigued by Abby’s resistance to his appeal, Travis tricks her into his daily life with a simple bet. If he loses, he must remain abstinent for a month. If Abby loses, she must live in Travis’s apartment for the same amount of time. Either way, Travis has no idea that he has met his match.

I had just re-read this book for the second time and I forgot how much I liked it. It is a lot different than the other romance novels that deal with underground fighters. It is a great love story and I bet I will be re-reading this book a hundred more times.

Abby doesn’t want to date Travis because he has sex with a different girl every night, she actually wants to have a real relationship and not have her heart broken. After spending time with Abby, Travis realizes that he wants to be with Abby and not just a one night stand but he is thinking for the rest of his life. So now Travis has to convince Abby that they are perfect for each other. Abby does want to be with Travis but she thinks that she should stay away because she thinks that Travis is too good for her because of her past with her father....
