I hope that you guys had fun last week. I really hope that you went to art in the park, I went and had a great time. I got a little too much sun, but o well I had fun.

Here is what is going on for the week of July 20-26.

This weekend, July 23-25, in Butte America is Evil Knievel Days!!! People really love this festival, I am not a big fan of it but others are. There is a lot of stuff going on this year here is a list of just of few things: Gregg Godfrey World Record Semi-Jump Attempt Plus Special Godfrey Clan Appearance, Bryan Spangler World Record Backwards Car Jump Attempt, 500′ World Record Motorcycle Distance Jump Attempt by The Bird, World Record Firewall attempt by The Kamakazie Kid, Mat Hoffman’s Death Defying Daredevils Freestyle Motocross Big Air Show With Hosts  Mat Hoffman, Jolene VanVugt, Street Bike Tommy and Gary Laurent, 2nd Annual Evel Urban Downhill Mountain Bike Race (the only one in the USA!), 1st Annual EvelKross Enduro Event, 1st Annual EvelSkate Urban Downhill Race, MEGA Ramp Demo featuring Nitro Athletes, Wakeboard Demo, Trials Bike Demo, Kid Knievel Area, Evel Knievel Memorabilia Display, Non-Stop Free Live Music featuring Tim Montana and the Shrednecks, High Voltage Montana, and many more! Many Other On-Site Attractions Including StuntRun.com Obstacles.          On July 25th there is the Butte 100 mountain bike race which includes a 25, 50, and 100 mile races atop the Continental Divide. Here is what is going on in Bozeman this week: Lunch on the Lawn is Wednesday at the Emerson Center for the Arts and Culture from 11:30 to 1:30pm. This week for music is the Acony Bells. On Thursday there is the 15th Annual Music on Main form 6:30 - 8pm. This week for live music is the Kris Klone Band. This Friday is Date Night at the Ridge, meaning you can drop your kids off at Ridge Kids for 4 hours and go have date night with your significant other. The cost is $23 for guest of $18 for members. This Saturday there is Balboa Swing Dnace from 7-10pm.

In Deer Lodge there is a branding event from 9am to 1pm at Grant Kohrs Ranch, featuring branding calves and fun family activities help throughout the day.

Starting July 24th in Philipsburg is the Flint Creek Valley Days. This is a three day jam packed dancing, parades, pancake breakfast, kid carnivals, a car show and lots more. The fun starts at 6pm on the 24th and runs through 5pm on the 26th. July 26th is the 20th Annual Flint Creek Valley Days Classic Car show. It will feature cars from all over Montana on display in Downtown P-burg. The car show starts at 10am and includes live music, door prizes, and category trophies are awarded at 4pm.

There is the Old Virginia City Flea Market on July 25th, it will run from 9am to 6pm on HWY 287 Field with Tipis, come to buy or sell.

In Whitehall on July 24-25th it is the 31st Annual Frontier Days on Legion St. It will feature music, a parade, kid activities, a BBQ, and more. For more information visit www.whitehallchamberofcommerce.com .

In Helena there is the Last Chance Stampede and Fair July 22-25. On Wednesday the week kicks off with the Kid’s Stick Horse Rodeo at the Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds. The Fair opens with commercial and 4-H exhibits, food vendors and Northstar Amusements carnival at 5pm. Things really get going when the Night Show starts at 730pm. Thursday features the Kiddie Parade downtown at 11am with “Military Appreciation Night” PRCA Rodeo in the evening. Friday features “Tough Enough to Wear Pink Night” at the rodeo plus the popular “Camp Cowgirl” women’s rodeo clinic with all of the fundraising efforts supporting local breast cancer patients. Saturday starts with the “Gold Buckle Dreamin Youth Rodeo” at 8am, Stampede and Parade downtown at 12, the 4-H livestock sale begins at 11am, and the final performance of the PRCA rodeo in the evening.

In Columbia Falls, up by Kalispell, there is Heritage Days, July 22-26. Family oriented festivities feature a car show on Wednesday; a concert at 7pm. Thursday an auction and BBQ followed by an open rodeo on Friday. Saturday brings the Boogie-to-the Bank 5k and 10k runs, a parade at noon, a 3 on 3 basketball tourney, family fun day, a wild horse drive, an open rodeo, and a barn dance. Festivities wrap up Sunday with a golf tourney.

This weekend in White Sulphur Springs is the Red Ants Pants Music Festival!!! The festival is July 23-26. Visit http://redantspantsmusicfestival.com/2015-schedule/ for the line up and schedule for the festival.

The Montana State Fair starts July 24th in Great Falls!!! The fair is from July 24th through August 1st. The 2015 Montana State Fair will be celebrating its 84th anniversary with another summer full of fun. Visit http://www.montanastatefair.com/index.php for more information and to buy tickets.
