June 15-20 there is a children’s theatre camp going on in Havre. This camp is for children grades kindergarten through 5th grade. This camp teaches all the aspects of the theatre production. At the end of the week, the children will perform their original work.

On June 20th there is a run called the “Stache Dash” in Bozeman which can either be a 3k, 5k, or 10k, whatever you feel like doing.

The Wild West Yellowstone Rodeo starts this week in West Yellowstone and runs all through the summer. June 17-20 the rodeo starts at 8pm. There will be bareback riding, team roping, saddle bronc riding, break away roping, bull riding and a special “calf scramble” for the kidos. These are just some of the scheduled events.

Couple of things happening in Great Falls. June 19-21 it is the 26th annual Lewis and Clark Festival, visit www.lewisandclarkfoundation.org for detailed information of the weekend. June 19th and the 20th there will be a garden walk which will take place at the Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art. The Garden Walk takes place each year, gardeners and garden enthusiasts alike participate in this fundraising event and come away bursting with new ideas to incorporate into their own gardens.

On June 20 in Billings the Highland Games are taking place at Zoo Montana. This is a Renaissance festival which will include athletics, dancing, music, and fun. Also on June 20th Billings is holding the Biggest Garage Sale at Metra Park from 7am to 3pm.

Sounds like there is going to be a lot of fun in Deer Lodge the weekend. June 20th is the 26th Annual Territorial Days. There will be a 3k, 5k, and 10k Prison Break run beginning at 8am. There is also the Show and Shine Car show, which if you would like to enter your car you need to be registered by 9am. There is a parade at 11:30 and the parade will be followed by a Jaywalkers Jambaree street sale. Also throughout the day there will be a tractor show, live entertainment and more. In Butte there is stuff going on at the Museum of Mining. On June 15th there is a Summer Youth Program and the Museum of Mining form 9am to noon, and it cost $15. Also at the World Museum of Mining on June 18th there will be a behind the scenes tour from 5pm to 7pm and the cost is $20 a person. You will be able to explore the exhibits form the inside out.

There is some cool events taking place in Virginia City this weekend. June 19-21 Virginia City will be stepping back in time to the Grand Victoria Ball of 1864. Also living history will be taking place this weekend. This sounds like a lot of fun, going to Virginia City and seeing people dress up like the good old days on 1864. See men in fancy suits and women dressed up in corseted dresses. Don’t forget about the candy store, which is my favorite part about Virginia City. How could you not love the candy store, you get to see them make homemade taffy and they have homemade fudge in an assortment of flavors. A fun family activity is taking old time photos at Old Times Photos.
