Candy apple paint, flame jobs and chromed Big Blocks . . . car shows are just plain fun for kids of all ages. Spending the day looking at hot rods with your family and friends is simply a good time. So this summer grab a stroller and hat, load up the kids, neighbors, grandparents and head to a local car show. Below is a list of several events within a short drive. Perhaps the best known in the Bozeman area is Cruisin’ on Main, now in its 15th year. Other favorites are the Potato Festival Car Show in Manhattan along with the epic Yellowstone Rod Run in West Yellowstone’s beautiful city park. Be sure to pack some sunblock, a few extra juice boxes and a camera. Remember, the best part is that most of our Montana car shows are absolutely free.
