Grandma Shirley’s Bridge Club Recipes - Quick Crab Bisque

The holidays are here and that means a lot of entertaining at home! So many people blowing through town that you need to impress on the fly! While chatting with Grandma Shirley the other day she told me about her bridge club pal Peg's crab bisque. It's the easiest recipe I think I've ever seen. And the beautiful thing . . . you don't have to tell your mother in law how simple to make it is. Plus, it's crab, you are instantly fancy!

QUICK CRAB BISQUE

QUICK CRAB BISQUE

1 can tomato soup

1 can pea soup       ---------blend these 'til smooth

1 1/2 cans rich milk

1 tsp. curry powder, or to taste and a little sherry.

Heat and add 1 can of crab meat.

Note from Peg: "I couldn't find the split pea soup, so just made it from the dry peas.  I left out the ham chunks that I would usually add.  This recipe serves 4--couldn't be more simple."
