Gobble, gobble! Where to get a fresh Hutterite Turkey and my Brine Recipe

Thanksgiving is just around the bend. About this time last year, I posted my turkey brining recipe. Click Here for brining instructions. I love how the brine flavors and tenderizes the turkey. It simply helps you make a tasty and moist bird. Make a smaller batch and test it this weekend on a chicken. You won't be disappointed.
Probably the most important thing to remember when getting ready for making your turkey is to get the best bird that you can. Heebs has Hutterite turkeys coming in at the end of the week at around 2:00PM this Friday. They do it first come first serve, so if you haven't reserved a bird somewhere else in town, here is your chance! They are expecting 420 fresh turkeys to be coming in. You can't get any fresher turkey that that unless you are raising them yourself!
Later in the week, we will be posting a guest blog from Adrienne Schroeder all about how to create a Vegetarian Thanksgiving Day Feast, complete with main dish, side courses and dessert! As my 6 year old says, "Keep your eyes banana-peeled!"
