The other day was 'preschool-graduation' for my littlest heart pirate. I am usually pretty excited for these things. And this one felt special because her class was such a great group of friends. But personally it's been a busy time. Between not wanting to pack anymore of the endless lunches, signing up for camps, my sweetheart's busy work schedule and mine I haven't really felt like I have been taking care of myself.
A dear friend gave me a gift certificate for Indulgence and after the preschool festivities, I headed there -- thinking that I would get her a fancy lip gloss or something. BUT! I ended up taking care of myself. With company coming , it's really nice to feel good about how you look.
Indulgence now offers express services. Eyebrow tinting and waxing, blow-outs, styling, nails and spray tans! Until construction is finished, they are running some amazing specials.
Seriously, I had my brows done for 25 smackers! Tinted and waxed. At risk of sounding immodest, I have to say that they look fabulous. Being that it is summer and all, I pretty much only use a powder bronzer, mascara and lip gloss. Having nice brows just looks more 'done.' The pirate played with the friendly gentle giant of a shop dog and chatted with the other ladies while I was getting worked on. It was a seamless and fast experience. I think I am in love.
