As a parent of young children, you are most likely stuffed to the eye-balls with of one-of-a-kind pieces of art de resistance created by your blood-related Rembrandt.

Question: What to do with all the art? Specifically Halloween-themed art?

Answer: Decorate for Halloween by Creating Your Own "Hall of Horror."

Authentic confession: This is not my idea, but that of a friend. Last year, while visiting her home I discovered this thoughtful display - made by her own creepily creative and artsy "ghouls!"

The trickiest part? Adequately providing space to SAVE the creepy musings from year to year. But, oh, the fun (not to mention gore) you will no doubt receive!

Halloween Enhancing Idea:

Gather artwork - or create your own - in every creepy, ghoulish design you can imagine. Find a hallway or secrete passageway (?) in the house where taped artwork to the walls won't make mom's eyes cross!

Punch up the terror by adding black and orange crepe paper streamer suspended from the ceiling - or a cob web or two (or ten) strung from wall to wall. Don't forget to add a spider!

Have Halloween Hall of Horror Fun!

Makes me wish I had kept more of my own little goblins and ghouls scary artwork...
