Chili Beer Brats (or Hot Dogs, or Kielbasa)


Olive Oil

2 pounds ground beef

1 onion, diced

4 garlic cloves, minced

15-ounce can tomato sauce

1 cup beef broth

2 Tablespoons honey

1 Tablespoons yellow mustard

2 Tablespoons paprika

1 Tablespoons cumin

1 Tablespoons chili powder

2 teaspoons Apple Cider Vinegar

1 teaspoon Worcestershire

¼-½ teaspoon cayenne

Salt to taste

Sauté the onion and ground beef until beef is no longer pink. Drain off excess fat, add garlic. Sauté 1 more minute. Add remaining ingredients, with cayenne being last. Taste, add ¼-½ teaspoon of cayenne (or don’t) and finish with a dash of salt.

Beer Brats, Dogs or Kielbasa

Simmer your pork product in enough beer to cover the dogs for 5-10. Turn off heat. Grill to perfection.

Serve with good rolls, cheese, diced onion, jalapenos and sour cream.
