Bozeman Winter Farmer

The Bozeman Winter Farmers’ Market is in its sixth season and if you haven’t been already, I would definitely recommend checking it out. First of all, it’s at The Emerson and I love to go to The Emerson.  After being overwhelmed by my kids running around the Bogert Farmer’s Market all summer this is a wonderful change of pace.  It’s in the ballroom downstairs, a great space.  Nice and cozy but still plenty of room to mill around.  There’s also live music so you’ll probably want to mill around a bit.  It’s mostly food with just a couple of vendors selling things like soap made with ingredients from local farmers (like goat’s milk).  The winter market was created by local farmers and continues to be run by them to provide people a way to buy directly from those producing all this great organic produce. There is still a large variety, even this time of year.  The market also has baked goods, (many gluten-free options) meats and homemade soups.  Last week there was a coffee vendor selling freshly ground cups of coffee that smelled amazing.  It’s just a lovely way to spend a Saturday morning.

The Bozeman Winter Farmer’s Market is every other Saturday from 9-noon except for the month of December.
