You’ve seen her. Hiking the M with a baby in her backpack while cheering on the weary toddler by her side. Patiently and gently, but firmly, removing her tantruming 2-year-old from the candy aisle at Target. Using her brief lunch hour to bring lopsided homemade cupcakes to her child’s classroom party. Saying NO to her teenager when saying YES would be so much easier because she knows that it’s the best thing for her child.
She is the mom you wish you could be every day (especially on your worst days) and that you want to hang out with when your mama reserves are running
dry and you need some inspiration. She’s the one who handles the job of motherhood heroically, without knowing it – and without making other moms feel bad.
