Leadership Through Horses
Campers work daily with horses to learn important aspects of leadership, communication, and partnership skills, as well as, horse behavior, non-verbal communication, and how to safely approach, halter, groom, lead, and ride a horse. By earning the respect of a horse, participants gain confidence and learn how to be compassionate, focused, honest, and responsible leaders. The curriculum is offered by Windhorse Equine Learning. Classes are taught by instructors certified by PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship).
