Wonderlust Friday Forum: Montana Shakespeare in the Parks

When

May 10, 2019
12:00pm - 1:30pm

Where

Bozeman Public Library

Founded in 1973, Montana Shakespeare in the Parks is one of the oldest and best regarded Shakespeare companies in the United States, giving over two hundred performances a year in schools and communities in Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho.

Artistic Director Kevin Asselin and Susan Miller, Director of Outreach and Marketing, will give an overview of Shakespeare in the Parks—its upcoming season, how plays are selected, how actors are chosen, how Montana Shakespeare in the Parks is introducing Shakespeare to school kids all over our state—and why, 400 years after his death, Shakespeare’s works are “not of an age, but for all time.”

Friday Forums are free and open to the public. They are sponsored by MSU Wonderlust and the Bozeman Library Foundation, and offered on the second Friday of each month September-May at the public library.
