FREE 30-minute Introductory Workshop where we will play theatre games from Kelly Hunter’s book "Shakespeare’s Heartbeat" specifically designed to improve self expression, self confidence and social skills in children with ASD. The Hunter Heartbeat Method (HHM) guides adults in leading children through a series of games based on "The Tempest" and "Midsummer Night's Dream." The steady rhythm in Shakespeare’s verse known as iambic pentameter mimics the sound of the human heart, having a calming effect on the children.
