Trails Day & CDT Celebration Sunday, August 11
Montana's Premier Trail Town invites you to join the outdoor community in celebrating Lincoln’s unique trail heritage on August 11th, 2019. The goal of Trails Day is to celebrate Lincoln's unique geography along the Continental Divide and unparalleled trails heritage. The Lincoln area was a unique trail area long before Lewis and Clark passed through the area as Native Americans have used the Cokahlarishi Trail (Road to the Buffalo) for thousands of years. Today Lincoln maintains this unique trail heritage and is now an integral trail town for the Continental Divide Trail (CDT), the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route (GDMBR), the Lewis and Clark Bike Trail, the Race to the Sky, and our newest the Montana Trail 406 that had its genesis right here in Lincoln!
- Guided Historical Hike to Lewis and Clark Pass.
- Guided Hike on a segment of Montana Trail 406/CDT.
- Guided Bike Ride on a segment of GDMBR.
- Guided ATV Ride on Lincoln designated trails.
Sign up 7:30 - 8:00 am at Hooper Park for guided hikes/rides.
