The Freedom Festival holiday includes fireworks off the “Big M” on July 3rd with music and fun at Chester Steele Park. A large parade takes place from the Civic Center to Elizabeth Warren on July 4th. Pack a lunch and find one of many local parks for an enjoyable afternoon in the Montana sunshine.

July 2 -
Paint the Town Color Run
Registration - 9 a.m.
Race Start Time - 11 a.m.

July 3 -
Chester Steele Park
Star Spangled Banner by Catherine Russo - 6 p.m.
Edmonton Service Pipes and Drum Band - 7 p.m.
Fireworks Display sponsored by Town Pump Under Big M - After Dusk
Food vendors, live music by Highlands Brass and Butte Community Band and DJs provided by KBMF Radio 102.5 throughout the event.
Butte Civic Center
Professional floats sponsored by Summit Beverage, Council of Commissioners, REC Silicon, Montana Resources, and the Whitefish Winter Carnival float sponsored by Butte Hill Catering will be in the parking lot of the Butte Civic Center with their lights on for all to view.
KXLF will broadcast the Town Pump July 3 fireworks after the 10 p.m. news on the 3rd

July 4 -
Race for Recovery
Race Starts at Stokes parking lot - 9:30 a.m.
4th of July Parade
Janizary Patrol begins walk through parade - 9:30
Parade begins at Butte Civic Center - 10 a.m.
Parade proceeds south on Harrison Ave. and culminates at Longfellow St.
KXLF will broadcast the parade starting at 9:45 a.m. on the 4th, with a special pre-parade show
