In partnership with the Montana Learning Center at Canyon Ferry Lake, the Lewis & Clark Library will be offering Family Science Night every second Wednesday of the month from 7 to 8pm. Family Science Night is geared to 4th - 6th grade students and their families. Pre-registration required, and space is limited to 10 families. Register at the Lewis & Clark Library website, or contact Molly Hudson at (406) 447-6682 for assistance with registration.

October's Family Science Night incorporates our Big Read theme, Lab Girl by Hope Jahren. The science lab is a beautiful place. We'll introduce the basic tools found in a science lab and some of the exciting experiments that can go along with them. The experiments done during this Family Science Night will also have a special Halloween theme -- Atomic Slime, Dragon's Breath, and Boo Bubbles are just some of the experiments that we will be doing.

Family Science Night is supported by the Lewis & Clark Library Foundation, the Montana Learning Center at Canyon Ferry Lake and NASA.
