Montana College Guide
WE ALL KNOW THAT GOING to college increases our understanding of the world, helps us express ourselves effectively, and enables us to grasp abstract thoughts and concepts. These are all good reasons to pursue higher education, but college also has some very practical benefits that are needed in a complicated, ever-changing world. According to the College Board, graduates will also enjoy more job opportunities and perhaps earn more money.

“A person who goes to college usually earns more than a person who doesn’t,” reads the website, www.collegeboard.com. “According to the U.S. Census Bureau, on average, someone with a bachelor’s degree earns $50,900—that’s 62 percent more than the $31,500 earned annually by someone with only a high school diploma.”

Following is a list of four-year public and private colleges in Montana.
