Ask anyone who’s ever been through Anderson School’s famous yearly Haunted House and every single one of them will tell you it knocked their socks off. I’m still too scared to go . . . And this year sounds especially amazing – imagine a dark room filled with all of your fears … yes, this year’s theme is PHOBIAS. Yikes! Plus, it’s for an excellent cause: All proceeds from the Haunted House benefit the Anderson eighth grade class trip to Washington D.C. and New York City.

The 2016 Haunted House of Phobias will be held on October 28 and 29. Those who are more easily frightened should come for the “lights on” version from 5:30-7 p.m. For the brave, the lights go out from 7-11 p.m. Cost is $5 per person or $10 for a fast pass. The Haunted House is located at the Little Red School House, five miles south of Huffine (across the street from Anderson School).

The Anderson School Haunted House has been scaring people in the Gallatin Valley for almost 25 years, and this year promises to be no different.
